    load() via POST... Possible?

    Hi

    Simple question...

    I've got an xml object..

    I wana load some xml value generated from php..

    myXML.load("http://blah.com/mydata.php");

    BUT............

    mydata.php needs to take in POST VARIABLES to evaluate the request and return the proper XML data

    ... is this possible??

    on a side note..

    LoadVariables() function will suck data from a php file but can only be made usefull if FLASH is expecting variable=value pairs... is there a way to simply CAPTURE the returned data? Thing is, the value returned by that php file is plain text. not var=val pairs..

    How is your PHP file taking values ? For capturing the text value returned by PHP you can echo the text in PHP and that will be captured in flash, you can use the LoadVars class instead of simple loadVariables() method. LoadVars class is more flexible.
    Good Luck!
