    Excel Help

In Excel, I have hundreds of URLs in the following format:

    http://www.test.com/file.htm, 1, 03/08/2006 at 11:04 AM

I want to remove everything to the right of the comma (including the comma, so that only the URL is there)

How can I do this in Excel? Thanks.

Best way would be to run the text through some sort of stripping routine before hitting excel. But, in excel try:

    Code:
    =LEFT(A1,SEARCH(",",A1)-1)
Presuming your data is in cell A1.

...or you could just select the column and use Data > Text To Columns and use the comma as a delimiter. The first column will contain all the URLs, delete the other columns.
