Hi,

It's the old italic bug and IE tips the text sideways a little bit when you use ems or italics which makes the text longer that it normally is. This makes it stretch the parent a little bit wider causing the float not to fit anymore so it drops down the page.

There are 2 things you can do and the first is to make sure that the parent of the em (the p element) has a width set that is smaller than its parent (#content). This will allow the p element to stretch without breaking #content.

e.g.

Code:
* html #content p{width:97%}
Alternatively you could just hide any overflow on #content but you will need to check it doesn't have adverse effect as content may get clipped.

Code:
* html #content{overflow:hidden}
PS - don't just write "bump" in the post as "bumping is not allowed". Just add more information to clarify the problem if you don't get a reply.
