Question Popup script in CSS site

Hello first off I want to say thanks to the people who run this forum it's a great place to learn, so I'm new and with a dillema. I have a site that I got a template for and it's done in CSS I want to put a pop up code on it, I put the javascript code in between the heads and nothing it doesn't work. I have searched all over the net for a solution, is it just not possible to do this with pages that have CSS? When I say CSS I mean that there is a style.css page in the same directory so I guess that Cascasde Style Sheets, I'm still learning, any help would be great. The site in question is in my sig.
    Thanks

Can't seem to find any javascript between your head-tags. But to link to a javascript file just use this code:
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="path/to/javascript.js"></script>

Yes, CSS and Javascript are two different things. As long as your javascript code doesn't override some of your css rules you'll be fine.
