    Doesn´t work in NS 6

    I have created a left menu for a site I´m working on using JavaScript. When you click on a topic, the x number of options of that topic slide down and all the other topics slide down to accomadate this.

    The script I´ve written works fine in IE and up to Netscape 4.7. However it does not work in NS 6. The point where the script stops working is as soon as it encounters a <DIV> tag. Here is what I have in my div tags.

    <DIV id="MFX0" style="position:absolute; width:150px; height:12px; z-index:2; left:10px; top: 210px; visibility: hidden">

    I've read some stuff about Netscape implementing the W3C DOM recommendations and there is now another way to do this. However, I have not got time to crawl through tutorial pages to resolve this at the moment and I was hoping someone knew the solution to this.

    Thanks a lot!

    Part of the css you're using isn't supported by
    NN.

    Try creating a test document with a floating
    divider and see how NN interprets it.

    I just tried this script without the visibility and the title topic and all its child objects show up in the absolute values. This means that the the title topic writes over the child titles.

    My question is, what this Netscape use to make visibility:hidden work. Is there another bit of code I can use in the style of <DIV>.

    To change display use display, to change visibility use visibility

    They both have the same effect.
    I don't know if they both work in NN

    I Think NS6 support:

    display="block" / "none"

    but not

    display="" / "none"

    which works better,

    The visibility is the same..
