There really are many solutions our there. If you are new, you are going to need to find a company that will provide good support for you. Also, if you choose software that runs PHP, you may be able to partner up with a firm that can offer development and support as well. I say PHP because it is the most widely used language on the web now for scripting, and if one team fails you, there will be many more that can help as well.
