Having Problems with loading external SWF to a specific frame

I'm having some issues trying to load external swfs into frames. I've hunted around and tried the things on the forum but I just can't seem to get it right.

basically, I've built a pre loader, and an intro animation which ends and the images turn into buttons. on clicking the buttons I want to send it to a specific frame to load in the external swf.

could anyone please help me out!? I'm on a tight deadline and this is driving me nuts!

How are you loading the swf in the particular frame ?
    a) Are you directing the user to the particular frame and them loading the swf ?
    b) You're directing the user to the particular frame AND loading the swf at the same time ?
    Good Luck!

I'm directing the user to the frame, then loading the swf with it's own preloader. I can't get the code right and nothing is working for me. I'm a bit of a newbie to the whole flash website thing, and may have bitten off more than I can chew/code.
what would be the best way to do this? if you need to look at what I've done, let me know...
thanks so much for you help

Is the code for loading the swf written in the frame you're redirecting to ?
    Good Luck!
