I am going to host my PHP/MySQL site on some paid web host. I would like to know what I can do to increase security as much as possible. Maybe someone could suggest any online articles or other resources about security issues of PHP/MySQL applications?

There are three articles on PHP or http security. Best of luck. They can be dry at times.
