    rollover images keep loading in ie (6 and 7)

    Can someone tell me why my rollover images (the "+" and "-") keep reloading on mouseover in IE 6 and 7 ???

    I've even included the:
    try {
    document.execCommand("BackgroundImageCache", false, true);
    } catch(err) {}

    However, these are not background images so maybe that's it?

    Bonus points if you can tell me why IE6 is inserting all of that extra space between everything. Something to do with line-height?

    Thanks!

    The extra space is caused by this:

    [highlight="css"]
    #nav-personal ul li a {
    ...
    display: block;
    ...
    }

    As for the caching, I see no trouble on my IE6 or IE7

    Thanks, PMW.

    You don't see the little hour-glass for a split second in ie6?

    And you don't see the "E" in the ie7 tab display the little "loading ring"(??) when you mouseover the pluses and minues?

    Driving me crazy! Maybe I need to do a js preload of some sort?

    Totally missed that. Thanks. I think I'll go dip my brain in some cool water.
