    Question Joomla Components

Anyone here familiar with Joomla 1.5?

I have been looking for a Forum Component, and I'm no developer to the extent that I can program new components for joomla on my own...

There is one called "Fireboard" but it doesn't work for 1.5...

Any help here would be great.

    Thankyou

Haven't used Joomla in ages, but as far as it was always easiest to use another forum software and bridge it - vbb and smf used to work.

I personally have switched from Joomla to Drupal.

Fireboard is not bad at all. I have put it onto a couple of installations and it seems to be holding up ok.

No it's not a keyword for crap!

1.5 legacy mode means that it reverts the 1.5 installation into 1.0 mode so that older plugins and components can still be run.
Which is useful if you have upgraded but still need some older components.

There's a new one, I think it's called Agora if I remember right. You can check the Joomla forum because I remember seeing a fairly long thread on it..
