Mod_rewrite and flash

Hey guys,
not sure this goes here or in apache seeing how its the combination of the two.

Anyhow i downloaded a simple flash gallery and have made it some what dynamic now i have links like this http://www.mysite.com/gallery/index....riptoseefamily
I've setup mod rewrite so that this can be viewed as www.mysite.com/gallery/triptoseefamily
however when I do this it says I need to download flash. I've search forums and found a fix if you wrote the flash program but not if you downloaded somebody elses.

How are you embedding the swf? If you are using a javascript to do this then it might be this script isn't being loaded.

I believe it is using javascript. Is there another way to call it?

Check that the external javascript has loaded (either view through charles web debugging proxy or edit the javascript file to do an alert so you know it has executed)
