rollovers work on mac but not on explorer with pc

Hi there!
I have built a site using xhtml. The button rollovers work fine on my mac but on a pc using explorer they don't, but the cursor pointer works. Can anyone help?

This obviously doesn't have anything to do with HTML or XHTML, which are for marking up content. For 'rollovers' you'll either need CSS or JavaScript. Let me know which one it is, and I'll move the thread to the appropriate forum.

And, as Tyssen said, you'll need to provide a lot more information if you want help.

I am new to coding and also new to this site!
have a look at .helen-baker.co.uk/flowers[/url] the main buttons should rollover to pink, they work wonders on a mac but not pc. I have used css layout sheet.
Also - how can you alter the kerning on the text?

I can't see any buttons!
All I see are two images and a logo.

You can affect kerning using the letter-spacing property, but unless you know a lot about typography you should probably be very careful with that.

If you click on the large flowers, you go to her real home page (the index page is just a splash page, serving no purpose at all).
And then the rollover DO work...in FF2 and IE7

Ah. Still don't see any buttons, although the links along the top light up in pink on hover in Opera 9.51/Linux.

Hi all
Back from work!
The index with the logo and 3 boxed photo is an introduction, if you click on any of the photo's then you enter the site. Like Dr John said.
So the 'home' 'about us' 'gallery' and 'contact us' and the about us sub headings rollover to pink? That is good, I tested it on windows explorer and it didn't work. The buttons/links? only change to pink when you click on them.
