    go to link on new page code how to?

    Hi everyone.
    I know this may sound daft and most of you will know how to do it, but how can i get people to click on a picture from one page and take them to the exact same one on another page on the site where they can see the full thing and be able to pay, my site has a few things on each page you see and i have put tasters on the front page for people to click on and go to the page where the full discription is, but all i can do is send them to that page, not to that item that could be some way down that page, how do i do it where it sends them to that item on that new page?
    any help on this would be go great, and i bet its very simple thing to do but i just havent got a clue.
    thanks all x

    The easiest solution would be to give the item on that page an ID and then when linking to it do the following: "http://watever.com/some-page.html#ID"

    The hash just goes on the link... So you would do the following:

    Code html4strict:
    <img id="the-image" src="image.jpg" alt="image..." />

    And:

    Code html4strict:
    <a href="some-page.html#the-image">link</a>
