    window.open

    Hi Chaps,

    why would my window.open code below (both methods) not work on IE, but Mozilla Firefox?

    method 1
    PHP Code:
    <a href="javascript: void(0)" onclick="window.open('popup.php', 'Show All Events', 'width=400, height=477'); return false;">View All Events &raquo;</b></span></a></th
    method 2
    PHP Code:
    <a href="javascript:void window.open('popup.php', 'Show All Events', 'width=400, height=477');">View All Events &raquo;</b></span></a></th
    cheers

    Check to make sure that you have javascript settings turned off in your IE browser settings.

    PHP Code:

    <script language="javascript">
    function
    openwindow()
    {
    window.open("popup.php","mywindow","resizable=1,width=350,height=250");
    }
    </SCRIPT>

    <A href="javascript: openwindow()">View All Events &raquo;</b></span></A>

    This maybe the reason why it is not working in IE? Change the setting to on and try your initial code to see if it works.
