How can I setup a new server with no OS and no CD bay?

I've been charged with setting up a new Dell PowerEdge server, but it arrived with no default OS and no CD/DVD bay! Any ideas on how I can get an OS on here? Are there any linux builts suitable for booting off of a USB thumb drive for this purpose?

Off a network or something like this would probably be your best bet

    <<snip>>

If those are not options or seem too complicated I would suggest just getting a cheap external CD/DVD drive you can probably get one fairly cheap at a local retail electronics store or even cheaper from somewhere like newegg.

Sorry I am unable to post links here yeti it seems Search Linuxforums.org for something like 'linux thumb drive' and you should get some results that help.

You can pick up IDE CD-Rom drives for around $5 at a used computer store. I have several just laying around. That's really all you need if you've got physical access to the server. You could also install via the network (as suggested above) or use a USB cd drive.
