    images don't render online...

i'm new to this site, and new to css.

i've been attempting to code my first site.

so far, locally, it works fine. however, when i attempt to view online, only parts of the site render. when it's viewed in windows, the bottom half doesn't render. when it's viewed on a mac, top portion doesn't render.
it's completely baffling. i've validated both html and css. everything checks out fine. please be advised that i haven't even placed browser specific coding.

(i've attempted several times to include the html + css and a link, but the system won't allow me to do it. i suppose i need help with that, as well.)

    thanks.

Since you only have one post, I don't think you're allowed to post links. Can you add it as an attachment?

For me the only difference is on IE6 the menu links don't display while on FF it all looks good - is this what you're talking about?

yes. that is what i'm talking about.

i can deal with things not lining up in different browsers, as i noted in my attachment, i haven't gone beyond the basic markup.

it's troubling to me that some images render and others don't.

are you on mac or windows, or do you have both?

as i stated in my initial email, when i use dreamweaver and preview the site, everything renders beautifully, it's only when i check it on the server, that things start going awry.

    any thoughts?
