redirect http:// to http://www

Does anyone know how to redirect the URL of a host so that it always goes to the www subdomain? Is this done with RedirectMatch or is a rewrite rule?

A bit more comprehensive, but harder to understand. Replace domain with your domain, replace .tld with your top level domain (like .com) and then replace .php in the redirect match and last rewrite rule with your file extension if using something else. (I'm currently using it on WordPress.)
