How much would you let it go for?

I'm thinking about selling my blog tumblrthemes dot com. I noticed there is a fee to list sites for sale on sitepoint. I was just wondering, how effective is sitepoint?

I have a ballpark range for what I want for this blog and wonder if it can be reached here. The blog has massive traffic and in the hands of the right person, can be a gold mine.

I want everyone's opinion. If this was your blog, how much would you let it go for? Keep in mind that the traffic is only growing and growing from here now on as Tumblr's popularity keeps growing. Tumblr is what myspace used to be in '03.

    Good luck finding that person.

Can't really say much more without knowing traffic numbers and revenue!

What is "massive traffic" in your opinion? To me, it means 1,000,000 unique visitors a month or more.

Ok so maybe "massive" wasn't the right word to use. It had 6,514 unique visitors last month and 89,293 pageviews. The blog will have more traffic than that with the way traffic is moving this month.

I'd just list it up in the marketplace, don't set the reserve too high though. Let the marketplace decide the value.

The web is littered with corpses of sites that could be gold mines in somebody else's hands.

I noticed there is a fee to list sites for sale on sitepoint.
And thank goodness for that! There was a time when it was free and all those corpses mentioned earlier were playing what can only be called "listing SPAM". They so cluttered up the listings here that they obscured listings of the few sites that were worth more than $0.

Ok so maybe "massive" wasn't the right word to use.
I would suggest you tone down claims in any listing. There's nothing worse than prospective buyers calling you out and damaging your credibility in a SFS thread.

I still think 3/4 of the listings are spam.
