Beginner - was told to use MySQL Control Center

    Hello,

I am running MAC OS X 10.5. I am learning PHP and bought build your own database driven website using php & mysql. In this book they tell me to download the mysql cc - but it is old and outdated and i can't get it to work properly.

Does anyone know any good programs I can use to edit and learn with?

I have professional web design software, the one big one for this I am assuming would be Dreamweaver.

    I appreciate the help!

    - John

the #1 reference for mysql is the mysql docs, i.e. da manual, which is available in many forms (see the mysql site)

and you could also just browse this forum frequently
