    Question Logging Out Problems

    Hey there,
    I'm in need of help... I own a virtual pet simulated game, critterfrenzy.com, but as you can see it's still in the early stages.

    My problem is;
    When you login its suppose to redirect you to the news.php page(it does), but once you get there and decide to view another page on the navigation bar, it brings you back to the index.php page(logs you out).

    Any tips?
    Could it be sessions or some database problem?
    Regards,
    Jasae

    Sounds like a session problem.

    You probably have code like this:

    PHP Code:
    if(isset($_SESSION['var']))
       ...
    And you need to ensure that any pages you visit also carry on the session.

    Well it's still doing it, but I've got a login for you to try and maybe it'll give you a clue on whats going on.

    I have to agree with bfsog... looks like a session issue. I logged into your site and that's my best guess. Maybe if you post some code or something?

    It looks like the login information isn't stored anywhere but only verified. That is, when I log in the page log.php is shown and if I refresh the page and re-post the login info it works fine but when I refresh without re-posting I get an error.

    This leads me to believe that a cookie/session isn't created or its content cannot be verified by the script.
