    Exclamation Database Engines

There are so many different database engines out there that it is difficult to know which one is best suited for which tasks.

    I'm aware of
    MySql
    Oracle
    PostSql
    MsSql

But I don't even know what each has on the other

So I would like it if a bunch of you guys can talk about different SQL Engines (Free and Commercial) and talk about what each is best at...

I'm particularly interested in databases that hold a tremendous amount of data

see Comparison of different SQL implementations

by the way, they are called PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server (not PostSql and MsSql)

    and don't forget DB2

Lol, see, there are so many that even getting their all their names depends on how much you've read on them...
Thanks for the link... It's pretty technical though, kind of hard to apply to standard use if one doesn't know how each feature affects his or her own data.
