Question how different do websites look on the mac

Hi. I'm designing a site right now and I'm concerned about the way mac browsers display the webpages. Can anyone give me hints, tips, pitfalls, stuff to look out for when designing for the mac. I don't have a mac so i really have no clue how my page will look.
    Thanks!

There are a number of issues involving tables and css and such which can mess up your display.

These might help to some degree:

As long as your code is good there shouldn't be any problem. I use my Mac 100% of the time and very rarely have problems viewing sites unless parts of the code is missing or wrong.

well, if i remember correctly there IS an issue with standard font sizes being different on different platforms. although you are advised to use points in css, not pixels, the latter usually solves the problem.

One tip is to list more than one font when you specify fonts on your site. So if the first font in your <font> tags is Verdana, if you list additional ones, the browser will try to render those if the first isn't available and so forth.
