    Table heights in css?

    I'm trying a css table layout. (The table is there, but all the appearance is defined using css).

    It comes out nicely with Explorer 6.0 under windows 2000 but nowhere else

    This site is a "birthday present" for a writer friend so he can "publish" his stories.

    I need it to completely relative because he has sight problems, so he usually uses a 480*640 resolution. But his intended audience have got 1024.

    I also need the logo (which is right on the middle of the page) to be set with background property, because I want to put some text in that cell.

    I'm not very much aquainted with css workarounds. ¿can anyone give me a hand?

    You can find the page in:

    heres the css code:

    body {
    font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    background-color: #000000;
    margin-top: 5%;
    margin-right: 5%;
    margin-bottom: 5%;
    margin-left: 5%}

    table.principal {
    font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    color: #000000;
    height: 100%;}

    table {
    width: 100%;
    height: 100%;

    }

    td.encabezado {
    font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    background-color: #6666CC;
    color: #ffffff;
    width: 20%;
    text-align: center;
    font-weight: bold;
    }

    td.migas {
    font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    background-color: #FFCC33;
    color: #000000;
    border-bottom:1px solid #000;

    }

    td.principal {
    font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    color: #000000;
    height: 33%;
    }

    a.menu {
    font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    background-color: #6666CC;
    color: #ffffff;
    text-decoration:none;
    font-weight: bold;}

    .logo { background-image: url(../img/logo.jpg);
    background-position: center center;
    text-align: right; vertical-align: bottom;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }

    Hello,

    What is the exactly is the problem and what do you need help with?

    You dont need to have the logo in the background, just make it smaller or put the text below the image.

    do you want all the table cells to change in height? Your not leaving m,uch room for any content.

    let me know what you need.

    cheers

    Mainly, netscape 6 ignores the heights I stablished, so it all comes out crumpled together
