    NS 6.2 text size problem

I used CSS to keep some of my text at a fixed size. It works well with IE6 and NS4.08 , but NS6.2 seems that is able to overwrite the CSS and increase the text size.
Is there any way around this problem?

Could you please give us an example code to look at or an url wher you have a sample page. It would be alot easier to start with.

    Sure, here is an example:

Actually so far I found NO site that Netscape 6.2 will not manage to resize. e.g even if you go at cnn.com and you try to resize the text with IE6, nothing gets resized. Do the same with NS6.2, everything resizes and it gets messed up.

No. Mozilla's text zoom will adjust the size of fixed fonts, and there's really no way around it (short of making all your text images, which sucks anyway).

Netscape 6.2's behaviour here is a FEATURE, to assist those poor souls with bad eyesight, who may have difficulty reading text that you regard as "normal" sized.

I believe this is the way all browsers are heading...

Basically, all font-sizes including pixels will be able to be resized.
This is also true in IE/5.0+ Mac browsers.

Here's an interesting article from zeldman about some fo this >
