It's more important to disclose how you did do it, not how you didn't. If you spent 100 hours in forums trying to convince people to buy your book, giving away free samples to DP members to get reviews etc., you've earned yourself $1 an hour - not something anyone else would want to pay you for.

First, explain your business plan. Do do have one, don't you? Complete with a regular source of traffic, refund/chargeback rates etc?

Then show profit breakdown. Then, maybe you'll get some way towards seeing if you have something you can sell at auction.
