    Cakephp & Iis!!!

    Hi guys

Has anybody here managed to get CAKEPHP working on IIS? Or could anybody recommend a similar framework that is easy to setup on IIS?

It's a shame beacause I really like it but I cant get it work, I've read a couple of articles on the problem, but still no joy?

    Thanks in advance

we only have a windows server which hosts several .NET apps so we need IIS and I'm not sure about running the the two servers on the same box?

Well, you can, but they have to be on different ports as well. It's worth a thought but if you definitely have a need for IIS (which you have), maybe you should stick with it.

    Hi guys

Thanks for your replies, perhaps I should really look into setting up both servers?

I've tried that article from cake but I still couldn't get it to work and I can't find any other resources? Have you managed to get it working on IIS logic_earth?

    Hi Naresh

Unfortunately I gave up with CAKE in the end.

But your problem doesn't sound specific to CAKE, it looks like your not passing a valid var (array) as your argument to use in the 'foreach' statement, are you passing this correctly from the controller?

Try using print_r($var) to see what the outcome is
