(How Much?) Alexa Rank - 10,600

How much would just my domain be worth that is ranked on Alexa.com - 10,600? Gets about 1 million page views a month. 10-11,000 unique visitors a day and about 100,000 page views a day.

Would be good for anyone who is looking for traffic. Also what would the best payment process be?

Nobody would ever make a decision on pricing a website with only the Alexa and very basic traffic stats. What's the url? How much does the site make and what are its expenses?

I can provide google analytic stats and such.

When my website was up it cost me around 240 to be online and it made around 500 a month from site subscriptions and around 200 a month from advertisements. It was a large forum with over 78,000 members and had over 1 million posts. I am not selling the whole forum only the domain due to selling the whole forum (layout, etc) to someone else. The website was a downloads forum as well as a coding forum where members receive support in various coding subjects. The website is:

You should park your domain with Sedo or Fabulous so that at least the traffic is not going to an error page. The domain itself has no value at all. The only value you have left is whatever links and traffic are still coming to it, and if you leave the error page those will fade fast.

Phantom, I agree with Peter. You have your traffic because of the forum. That traffic drives the Alexa rank. That rank is for your forum, not your domain.

Take the forum traffic away and it would be fraudulent to claim that the Alexa rank still applies especially as you know that this rank is not going to last. It would sound like a scam to any intelligent buyer. And it is.

Yeah totally agree that the value is in the forum.

The new owner of the domain gets practically a
useless product if the forum is gone. Should be able
to make that site make you a lot more money by
    starting a newsletter.

Depending on what forum software you were using
you should be able to email all the members. If you
sent out 1 article a week to all 78,000 members that
also had one mention of an affiliate offer you could
    have been making...

    78,000 members x 10% open rate = 7,800 viewers

    7,800 x 1% conversion = 78 click through to affiliate

    78 x 1% conversion = 7 affiliate sales

If sale = $25 commission to you that means $175
extra per week = $700 month

That would have doubled your income from that site
with just 1 email per week! And I was using very
conservative numbers. I would love to have been the
buyer on a site like that - so much potential for more
income. Imagine if you mailed twice a week.

Haha you're right - shoulda got out a calculator first

Was trying to shoot for lowest numbers I could think
    of... I get 30% - 35% open rates and 3% - 7% conversions
so the math works better for me.

You should get the point though, so much more income
potential left in that site. Especially if you are promiting
an affiliate offer that pays residual monthly commssions.
