    Need some more details..

    What program do you have to edit with?
    What colors do you want?

    Most programs have a color balance, hue option that will adjust the colors.
    Otherwise, there should be a tool that allows you to replace a selected color.

    Okay, that makes a lot more sense!
    I tried this one out, not sure if it's what you're looking for but sounds like it. This uses 'mogrify' which is part of ImageMagick, with any luck you've got this installed.

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    $path
    "/usr/local/bin"//path to mogrify
    system("$path/mogrify -cycle 50 image.gif"); //cycles the image colormap
    ?>

    <BR><img src="image.gif">
    You probably don't need the path in there, but just in case. Easy enough to find with 'whereis mogrify'.

    Andrew - you might possibly be interested as this as well, for a user interface perhaps.

    Sean - quick question. Been looking at Imagemagicks convert utility (and stuggling to make sense of what to do with it). I've got access to it from the command line on my webserver. What I want to do is use it to shrink an image that's just been received from an HTML form, then put the image in a DB.

    Will I be able to pass convert the variable holding the image, to play with, or do I have to turn it into a "real file", run convert on it, then move it to the database?

    Thanks. You're yes or no will save me a load of time working this out.

    Harry, if you know where the file is stored you should not have any problems
