Free Stock Photography Websites

I agree with many who mentioned

This is a great place with many useful photos, especially for those who design for education and science. You won't be able to find this elsewhere. The prices are very cheap (25-50 cents), so I wonder how these guys run their business so well. And yes, if you play well you can get photos for free.

One more site which is new on the market:

slightly higher prices but many exclusive photos.

Also worth mentioning is
http://www.istockpro.com - this is a high end photography site with many low priced fine images.

There is no difference except that the link you posted had an affiliate link in it "ref=somenumber" which means you will be making money by advertising their site. If you sincerely like their site just post the link WITHOUT your affiliate code after it.

I can recommend www.artzooks.com. Lot's of royalty free images there.

Not exactly free though, unless you include the watermarked comps which you can access by registering on their site.

There was a site that reviewed free stock photo sites and it was quite good. I had the link a couple of days ago and know can't find it. It is a recent site and I'm sure I got it from here. Help please!

OK, if you want free photos that everyone else is using then those are good but I work as a photographer and we need to make a living too :-)

A lot of these sites are not really free -- they are royalty free, which is different...
