Same Sessions on multiple Sites ?

    Say I have www.site1.com and www.site2.com.

Say I wanted to create a PHP session for a person on site1.com. Could I make this session usable and recognisable on site2.com ?

Both sites will be on the same server.

    What do you think ?

I've never done this, but you could maybe create your own session handler and store session info in the DB.

    I've done this before:
serialize a whole session using serialize(...) (I actually used WDDX at the time), and pass it to the other "server" in a URL(GET) variable. Unserialize on the other end.
