    Thankyouhtml

    I have the 12/2006 issue of Build your own website using html&css. I am attempting to set up a response to my contact.html. There has been an update on the sitepoint site saying that response-o-matic requires the use of a thankyou.html and that it is easy to set up. But the update does not include markup language. Has anyone been able to find out what markup is required?

    I have no programming experience - this is my first experience with html.

    This worked on mine...

    <form action="http://www.response-o-matic.com/mail.php" method="post" class="contact">

    <input type="hidden" name="formid" id="formid" value="******" />
    <input type="hidden" name="required_vars" id="required_vars" value="name,email" />
    </div>

    <legend>Tell us About a Dive Event</legend>
    <div>
    <label for="contactname" class="fixedwidth">Contact Name</label>

    Thanks and a question.

    What do I enter for acctid and acctid values, and the
    formid and the formid values, and what are required_vars and the name,email. I am not asking for yours, but rather to know what is being called for. I appreciate your reply and patience with this.

    Thank and another question

    That worked and it is now working on my computer and I am getting ready to upload the modified contacthtml to my shared host.

    One question - at the very end of the process I get a continue button to push. When I push it, it directs me to a site in the uk.

    Is this a glitch or part of response o matic marketing?

    Great.

    After pressing the "continue" button, you should be redirected back to your own domain.

    Here's my version of the site that you're working on...
