    MSSQL and Windows 2003 Permissions

I am runnig a PERL based program and trying to access a MSSQL database on a windows 2003 machine. In my program it will not recognize my DSN that i have created. I was wondering what permissions in SQL and Windows 2003 need to be made so that this program can access my SQL database.

I have all the correct PERL plugins and ODBC and my DSN is set up correctly.

    Thanks

Make sure the DSN is a machine, not a user DSN, if the script runs under another account.

How do you differ between the two? I have a system DNS that I am trying to connect to.

Sorry, machine == system. What error are you getting? Can you strip it down to a simple test case?
