Learning Rails

I DLed sitepoint's sample chapters of Build Your Own Web Apps Using ROR, and saw that it uses Rails 1.4.

With 2.0 out, will I lose much if I learn it in 1.4? Thank you.

I suppose as of today

The book uses Rails 2.0 — the very latest version of Rails — so you can take advantage of all of the latest features of the framework.
