Email notification about new posts plugin for Wordpress?

Been searching high and low, and here as well, but I still need recommendations. Tried this one but couldn't get it to work -

Can anyone recommend a good plug-in or service? I've tried feedblitz but I can't see a way to control any of the parameters, or access my subscriber list or whatever. I've moved my blog from blogspot to my own domain now and I'm not sure if the same feedblitz code works, or how to move it or anything. I don't like feeling so out of control, so looking for a different solution now.
