    Hover Ad Help

    Hi,

I've added some code recently to a friends website to incorporate a Hover Ad style pop up. While it works perfctly on mine i can't seem to get it to work on his site and i can't work out why. I'm not a java expert unfrotuantely. I simply copied the relevant parts of the code from my site into his.

Could someone let me know what the problem may be.

The site that does not work is www.moreincomefast.co.uk/test

You will notice the hover ad Code from Line 213 to 260.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Initially, it appears that your problem is with the SCRIPT tag in the head of the document.
You are referencing a "js" file (src="/scripts.js") but I suspect it is not at that root path. Did you copy that file from 'your' server to 'his'?
Where is scripts.js on the server?
Change that tag to point to it correclty (remember it will be relative to the location of the html page from which it is called).

Hi. Thanks for your suggestion parkin. I checked and had put the scripts.js file into the test folder but i also put it into the root folder.
But still no luck. The really weird thing is that this site works perfetly on my actual machine as well.
i upload it and it doesn't work.
The server is Linux based, and i'm running a windows machine. Could that give any clues?

    Thanks

    Your document at

    http://www.moreincomefast.co.uk/test/

    is trying to load

    scripts/hoverpop.js

    whose absolute URL would be

    http://www.moreincomefast.co.uk/test...ts/hoverpop.js

    and it is not present.

Logic Ali thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

The file and folder where actually there....but the scripts folder was called Scripts and not lower case scripts as written in th web page.

Hence it worked in Windows hosting and not linux hosting.

Thank you all for your help...

    Wipppeeeee!!!!
