Should I use Ajax for this?
Hi. I have a situation where a PHP-generated page depends on several processes, at least one of which takes a long time to run. As a result, only part of the page loads and then it hangs for a while until the slow process has completed and sends the results.
I want to be able to quickly display a full web page with the information that is quickly retrieved, possibly including a "Please wait..." message in the appropriate spot, and then have the "slow" content appear when it's done. Is this something I should use Ajax for? I've never done anything in Ajax, but I'm not sure how else to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming that you have optimized your server-side code, AJAX would be the best way to approach the problem.Winners Respond. Losers React.
