making pop unders pop only once every 24 hours

Hi. I use exitfuel, but it pop ups every time you exit even though they only pay once every 24hours.

How would I make it so that the exit pop up only pop ups once every 24 hours? This is the code they gave me.

You put it before </head> tag.

    <SCRIPT Language="JavaScript" SRC="http://xxxxxxx.exitfuel.com/js/xxxx.js"></SCRIPT>

I'm pretty sure there's nothing you can do because the code they gave you is entirely dependent on the .js file they control on their server. It leaves you with little options but to contact them and tell them the problem. If it should only popup once per 24 hours and isn't, they ought to be able to help you.

I think that pop up ads are just another way of spamming - forcing surfers to look at an ad. Even my small children are starting to getting angry because of all those annoying pop ups. Well, I guess that it may still go for a while, but people are getting more and more tired of them - opt-in as we say with email - respect peoples privacy.

well nogi .. i very much agree but its a way of business. people advertise and this way they get money. u have a company ? u advertise one way or the other . thats the way it goes . and instant, as mjames said.. u can do nothing bout the .js files as they are controlled by the server of the party u trying to contact.
    Peace.

Let's keep this one on topic - the morals regarding pop ups and unders are well argued elsewhere on the site (personally very anti).

I'm not sure what your script does, but could you not set a 24hour cookie and only include the js for the pop-under when it's expired?
