Problem with images directory, need help!

    Hello!

Well, I've been having an issue here all day long.

I'm uploading a site through FileZilla FTP. I have all the HTML and CSS pages up with no problem.

The main directory in my Remote Site would be: example_site

Then I created another directory under it for the images, named simply: images
and it matches the name of the images folder I have in my Local Site. No images will upload on the actual site. However, if I place the URL in my browser as say: www.example.com/images/nameofimage the image will pop up in the next window. Something is wrong with my direction here. I tried to add the forward slash / to images and it doesn't help. My Local Site won't allow me to use the forward slash, but the Remote Site will.

I know this has to be something simple that I'm doing wrong. Does anyone know what I'm doing here? Thanks!

It sounds like the paths to your images on the pages may be broken. Have you tried checking to see that they match?

I finally found out what the problem is. The two folders did indeed match but I had another website on my directory called images so when I changed the name on both directories the problem was solved.
