A while back I was reading a computer magazine and it had an article about a programming language called Python, sadly I lost that magazine and I just want to know if anyone here could give me some info on it and what its used for.
Python is language that has similarities to perl. Its supposed to be quite easy to learn, and I thought it was pretty easy, although there were some things that thru me off. It can be used as a cgi programming language, but not a terribly many hosts support it.
Python also allows you to do Win32 programming, i.e. double-click on an app with menus. There was a recent (1day ago?) discussion about using Python for Win32 development on /. [slashdot]. You may want to check that out...
