I have, but is it not just the source for the version for 2k? I did get PostgreSQL running on Windows ME with Cygwin. The following thread will give you some idea of what I did:

    thanks a lot seanf

i have Cygwin and i know one way to get PostgreSQL is thru that... but i'm pretty new and i think that thread will help a lot ... one question: can i use PostgreSQL with PHP via my Windows' PHP or do i have to install PHP for Cygwin too??

    thanks

PS. i thought the source for win2k was just that: the source... i was looking for a pre-compiled binary for Win32 if that's possible

I don't think you can run it on anything other than Win 2000, except perhaps XP

You don't need to make any changes PHP wise, just use Cygwin to run PostgreSQL and then you can connect via PHP. You will need to make one change to your php.ini, just enable the php_pgsql.dll extension

If you have got any other quetions I'll see if I can remember what I did. I am going to see if I can get it running on XP when I get my new comp. You could always dual boot with Linux and run it on there, I've done this before
