    Wordpress problem with cpanel

    I am always having problem on wordpress... the httaccess is annoying..

    WordPress and .htaccess are completely separate. If you don't like the commands that WordPress added to the .htaccess then delete them.

    What's the issue, exactly?

    If you give me specifics perhaps I can help solve your problem.

    I've found that some webhosts don't let you modify your .htaccess easily and you have to do it manually (which is a pain).

    The biggest issue is usually with Mod Rewrite, and Apache has a great resource for that: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_rewrite.html

    I am having erors the moment I change permalinks... I lost all pages and what I have is page not found saying there is an error on httaccess

    The same is happening with my blog. I consider it a WordPress bug, as previous versions worked ok with .htaccess, so I have left he default one until this problem is solved. I think the Cpanel has nothing to do with it.
