    Remote_addr ??

    can I remotely/dynamically set the IP address, chaing the REMOTE_ADDR to something else.

    Makes no sense to me, can you give an example of what you mean and what you want to do?

    Change it inside your perl program? Like you would any variable:

    $ENV{REMOTE_ADDR} = 'whatever you want';

    thanks again kevin, but it doesnt work, becuase when you access file from a perl file, it doesnt set remote_addr like this, any way to get around this.. ?

    OK, well, I have no idea what you are tryng to do so I guess I can't help. Maybe somene else will be able to figure out what the question is you are asking or the problem you are trying to solve is.
