    An Accessibility Checklist

    1. I have included an ALT attribute for all images and image map hotspots on the page.

    2. Users can tell where links are taking them without having to read the surrounding text.

    3. My text links are distinguished from regular text in a way that is consistent, and does not rely solely on colour.

    4. Users can easily see the set text colour against the set background colour (as opposed to any graphical buttons or backgrounds). I have used high-contrast colours throughout.

    5. I have used a sans-serif font, such as Arial, and any stylesheets have font sizes specified using relative units.

    6. I have simplified my layout as much as possible and had sample users trial its usability.

    7. My pages are accessible to non-frames browsers. Where frames are used, I have included a TITLE for each frame, and a NOFRAMES alternative.

    8. I have provided accessible alternatives for interactive and multimedia content.

    9. All of the content on my webpage can be printed.

    10. My page has passed the BOBBY test and I have done any recommended manual checks.

    Nice list, thanks.

One question: Why the first part of #5? Are other font families non-accessable?

Sans serif fonts are just much easier on the eye when reading when screen, whereas serif fonts are more suitable for print.
