Well you can use Sitepoint marketplace where you can hire writer for your need. I just seen it on this forum. Also you can use Freelance sites like eLance and other to find better writer.

I just had a very positive buying experience at elance.com. What I hadn't realized is that they charge coders $10/mo, I believe .. which tends to weed out some of the brambles.

yes, digitalpoint is a good place...there's a lot of non-experience people in freelancer sites trying to make your project as their practicing piece..
Scriptlance.com isn't a bad place either but you have to do some work separating the real good work from the trash .

I too am looking for writers. I posted on DP, and though I did get a lot of offers sent to my PM box, I wasn't pleased with what I saw.
a.) Some were way out of my price range, even though I stated my price in my forum thread.
b.) Maybe I was offering too little, but all the samples I received were of shoddy quality. They were riddled with simple grammar errors and the writers did not show competency in the English language. None had a clear and coherent writing style.

Can you give us more details? What sort of articles do you need? Do you want SE fluff, or human-targeted quality articles? What's your budget?
I think your search should start based on these factors. On forums such as DP or on freelance sites, for every quality writer, you will get 30 crappy quality ones promising this and that. I should know, I've been a top 30 Rentacoder content writer for several years, before I had to move up a notch because of all the $0,005 per word writers there.
