    Unhappy formmail cgi problems!! Drive me crazy!

    Ok so this is driving me crazy.
    I am using Dreamweaver 3.0 to design my website and filezila to upload. I have used mats script for formmail but it is not working. Tried 100 types!! I have saved the from in my note pad uisng save as but it only read save as ASC not ASCII does this matter?

    My website is as follows: www.i-lap.net
    My form page is called www.i-lap.net/form.html
    My re-direct page is www.i-lpa.net/formrepsonse.html

    I put formmail.cgi as the file name. I save the file cgi-bin in a folder in the root folder, does this matter?

    Anyway I do the following:

    #!usr/bin/perl at the beginning

    $mailprog='/usr/sbin/sendmail -i-t': as instructed

    @referers=('i-lap.net','www.i-lap.net');

    @recpients=&fill_recipients(@referers,'i-lap.net@fsmail.net');

    This is an account at orange.co.uk, does it have to be an account with the host?

    Fill in all the form HTML as shown

    <form action="http://www.i-lap.net/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl" method="post">
    <input type='hidden' name="recipients" value="i-lap.net@fsmail.net"/>
    <input type='hidden' name="subject" value="Form Results"/>
    <input type='hidden' name="required" value="email"/>
    <input type='hidden' name="redirect" value="http://i-lap.net/to/formresponse.html">;

    Then either get this message:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, andrew@buck1280.freeserve.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log

    or get this message:

    Bad/No recipient

    Can someone just give me the correct advice?

    You have:

    <form method="post" action="www.http://www.i-lap.net/cgi-bin/FormMail.cgi">

    should be:

    <form method="post" action="http://www.i-lap.net/cgi-bin/FormMail.cgi">

    see if that helps, if not, I don't know, I never mess around with FormMail.
