    Conversion programs

I have quite a few myd, myi, and frm database files. I'm not really interested in installing mysql if I don't absolutely have to, plus I don't know enough about it so it would be a long day just to get basic info.

Anyway, I would like to either directly open or convert these files into a format I can open and just view the information contained in them. I have been googling for an answer for a while but everything wants to connect to a nonexistant server. Access is a simple program, is there a way to directly convert these files without having to setup a server first?

    Please and thank you!

you have to run a mysql server to read those files.
