    DB Driven Site Running Offline

Has anyone been able to take a DB (access) driven site and run it offline? I am willing to make changes to the actual pages to run locally (path names, etc) but i have a db that will contain new information and i want to see if i can provide this file to the users for offline use.

    Suggestions?

Why not run a web server as well for local system only? this way you can run it offline and you don't have to make any major changes as well.

you can't make a website driven app run without a web server. just changing the paths in the files won't work because you still need to run them through some sort of interpreter. you'll have to install a web server locally, as dman suggested.

It is an access db, right? Why not just upload a downloadable database file that you occasinally re-generate and build the UI into that.
