Talking Niche Free Directory & Blog, would love your review!

    Hi all,
I went for something a little different with this one, trying for a niche!
I know it is a heavy site to load, but I opted to sacrifice some speed for the graphics and the feel I wanted to bring to it!
Anyways tell me what you think!

    The Club Crawler

    Thank you all in advance!

i like the design, although the site loads very slow, because of the big images. I would try to insert more text / less images.

I love the design but it's absolutely slow loading, visitors will leave before having seen your content.

OK many hours later and I have sped this site up, pages are about 1/4 of the size they were before!

Whats it looking like now? Have added quite a few tweaks to the design also!

    Thank you all!

It looks OK, the black background is too heavy I think.

The background color is a little black, and my screen is 1280x1024, your website's width is only 800 width and parked in left position.

My pet hate is music that starts automatically. I often open a bunch of browser tabs at once and it drives me nuts having to go through them all trying to figure out which website decided their taste in music should overrule what I'm already listening to. Just my opinion - let the user have some control. I couldn't even see any way to stop the music on your page.

Grammatical points: Make the spelling of "data base/database" consistent in your into. Check capitalization (e.g. "With Reviews..."). These are minor issues but they make a difference with a lot of people, especially when it's their first impression.

Some of your pages are aligned left in my browser (Safari/Mac) but some of them are centered. You should make that consistent.

Loading time was okay for me and my connection isn't that fast.

Overall an interesting site. The content looks solid which is what really matters. Good luck.

The side does load pretty slowly and like people said, it's your background images. The black one used at the menu-ish deal at the bottom seems almost useless considering the black background of the site and doesn't really make sense with the other concrete/stone backgrounds used in the rest of the design.

Your Flash took a little while to load as well.

It looks alright. I think the design is a bit dated, especially for a club directory. Particularly the navigation blocks look as if they were made in 1998.
