Talking Complete site redesign, what do you think?

I had submitted this site for review previously, I took stock of all that was said, and decided to not only change the whole layout, but to also change the entire site from an article based information site to a free niche directory with a blog.
I am adding all the articles I had previously used in the site as blog posts. So far Submission have been stedily increasing and so has page views and time spent on the site. However I would really like a review from my peers on this one.

It should load a hell of a lot faster than the previous version.

Although at first glance the layout looks OK, it has locked up IE7 and Firefox 2 on Vista, and Firefox 3b5 on Ubuntu.

    Ok,

    1. The site doesn't start with the proper page but with a redirect. Avoid this.
    2. The CSS could and should be optimized, is too heavy (too much html text)
    3. Remember, the CSS it useful defining the whole site layout. You are drawing each div on the page... it should only call the div... contained on the css file. This will reduce your site load time.
    4. The site could be shrinked a lot... visit the w3schools site to learn about borders, it helps to draw the boxes you use but with less html and code.

It really need to be optimized. The page saved to disk and with all the images and javascripts is 359k!!! and should be less. Keep working on it, good luck!!

When I visit your site it's in an endless load mode. What's up with that? So you know, I'm using IE6.

    Long Load Time

The site took a very long time to load for me, though I'm not quite sure why because it looks like a simple, clean design. I do like the layout and the color scheme though. I also like the concept. Another thing is I'm not too sure about the domain name. It's pretty short and easy to remember but I wouldn't know what the site was about based on the domain name. Good luck!

I like the theme.. I am a bit of a health freak myself.. However, I dont like the metal square buttons.. It reminds me too much of terminator/governator, unless you are trying to address to yourself to future MR. UNIVERSE

I would try to make those a bit simpler.

I do not like all the borders between links and things. Also, don't be shy; use more colors. A combination of standard blue and grey/white is not so...Well, you know what I mean.

    And center the layout.

Note: I'm using Firefox 3.0 Beta 5 on Ubuntu

I see lots of ads and very little content on the homepage other than advertisements. If you can't offer your customers a meaningful experience at the door, then it will be hard for them to use the rest of the site.

It looks good but, as with your other site (The Club Crawler), the navigation menus are dated.

    Hello,

The navigation could use some work. It's very difficult to know where to go to. I think you should go with standardize tabs at the top in a standard header. On firefox 3 on the mac, there is a lot of dead space on the right hand side of the page. The context to ad ratio is off. There are too many ads on the main page. Also, how about making a logo or something? I think the site needs a lot of improvement.

To be honest I do not like the website that much ... It is to simple and you may want to change your design to attract more potential visitors to it.

I know that most of the webmasters want to get rich from Google Adsense, but that ad is just to large.

    On your pictures you might add this in your css file to not show the border any more when you put a link to them: img { border:none; }
