Question how to make the sitepoint popup banner

    Hello guys,

I am new to this site. I am looking for something different and found something interesting on the sitepoint.com website. There was a pop up bar at the bottom, it was black with a picture, link and options to close it on the right. Hope you know which one i am talking about.

I am interested in creating one for my site but can't seem to find anything that comes close. was wondering on how to make it, any help that will not involve too much running around would be great. Want it to be permanent so every time they go to the site the bar will be at the bottom.

    Please help

    Thank you in advanced

    Peter

Ok so i did everything thats explained to make this thing and there is red border around the whole website when it is displayed in IE for some reason. I'm using version 6 and it does the same thing in IE7. But it mozilla it displays properly.

If anyone could let me know why that would be of most help.

In IEhack.css, you gave the div#zip element that red border.
